£12.8m deal for pet supply business

A Devon-based pet supply business with more than 2,800 customers in the UK and across Europe has been acquired in a £12.8m deal. Vital Pet Products has warehouses in Exeter, Bolton, Glasgow, Salisbury and Bristol and distributes 28,000 products to the pet specialist retail sector. It has been bought from the Steuart family by the Subura Group, a business set up to facilities the acquisition.
