Costs such as food, bedding, toys, equipment and insurance can see the typical owner of a cat paying around £2,455 per annum, and dog owners paying £4,791 on average. The famous Cornish fishkeeping institution had been on the market since mid-2015 after long term owner Monty Ray decided to retire, but finding the right person to take over such a well known store and continue its 50-year legacy has taken time.
