The fresh taste of apple is getting a slice of the action in Fish4Dogs new healthy treat – by public demand.

The variant of the company’s popular Sea Wraps – Sweet Ocean Wraps – has been created after customers took part in a survey and voted apple as their preferred fruity ingredient.

Some 44 per cent of customers opted for apple – ‘pipping’ banana, pineapple and kiwi to the post.

Like humans, dogs have an extremely sweet tooth and the launch of Sweet Ocean Wraps promises to give our four-legged friends a taste of the action.

Combine the sweetness in apple, with fish wraps, and you get a fantastic fruity treat that is also great for cleaning teeth and only 26 calories.

Each treat has a generous 67 per cent apple – the succulent slices of apple are wrapped in fish skins (33 per cent) – making them an irresistible combination of chewy and crunchy textures that will delight your dog’s palate.

And, although suitable for dogs of all sizes, the large treats are a delicious mouthful – providing bigger breeds with a treat that won’t be gobbled up in the blink of an eye.

Said Fish4Dogs Chief Executive Graham Smith: “We are always keen to listen to the views of our customers and develop our products in line with their suggestions. Apple was a popular choice for a new ingredient and this was a great opportunity for us to serve up a new product – by public demand.

“The imaginative use of a wide variety of fish products enables us to provide a complete range of treats to satisfy dogs of all shapes and sizes that manage to be both delicious and at the same time healthy. They are a holy grail of guilt free indulgence”.

The two natural ingredients in Sweet Ocean Wraps are free from additives – making them a very ‘clean’ treat.

Sweet Ocean Wraps are priced at £4.50 for 100g, £22.00 for 500g and £42.00 for 1kg.

All products are available for immediate delivery via and selected stores.
