The Family Pet Show is an open, inclusive community for all animal-lovers with a full line-up of exciting shows, workshops and programmes in five areas Dog World, Cat World, Furries World, Exotic World and Bird World.

Two action-packed days of agility demonstrations, free informative sessions on nutrition behaviour even from the experts at Pet Reiki and a kids play area with a double decker play bus, craft and face painting workshops, are among the endless entertainment in store for everyone. With four interactive areas, there is fun for the entire family over the whole weekend.

Sponsored by CO-OP Insurance, The Family Pet Show has plenty of opportunities for those who prefer to take the enjoyment beyond the spectator seat. Visitors have an exclusive opportunity at doggy dancing with Lucy Heath and Trip Hazard and entering the only regional heats of Scruffts. The Kennel Club Competition for mixed breed dogs nationally sponsored by James WellBeloved, consist of six classes and overall winners will be invited to compete on a national level at Discover Dogs. Canine lovers can also expect to meet a diversity of breeds at the Dog Discovery Zone, including the British lupine dogs that featured in the Game of Thrones and Twilight.

For the very first time this year, The Family Pet Show is hosting The International LondonCats Show in partnership with The International Cat Association (TICA). An Allbreed Championship and Household Pet Cat Show. Expect to see more than 100 cats, representing over 50 breeds in this feline competition. Judges will be flown from France, Belgium, UK and USA to award the show’s Best Cat, Best Kitten, Best Neuter and Best Household Cat.

The LondonCats Show is a spectacle in the honour of our furry loved ones, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to get to know their favourite breeds such as Persian, British Shorthair and Maine Coons. Visitors will also be able to discover a world of more exotic and rare breeds such as Bengals, Sphynx and the only UK LYKOI or “Werewolf cat”. But the Cat World is not exclusive to feline owners; Academy 4 Dogs has kindly sponsored a dog crèche for all dog owners to enter the CAT WORLD and enjoy The LondonCats Show.

Making a return for the fourth time is James Bowen, author of ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ and his ginger companion, Bob. Don’t miss the purrfect opportunity to meet the duo from the touching true story of The Sunday Times bestselling title and Hollywood film! ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ is a heartfelt account of how the homeless London busker came to adopt the stray cat that helped him overcome his drug addiction and homelessness.
